Order of Omega - Beta Rho Chapter - Bradley University

Congratulations to our 27 new undergraduate and 4 new honorary initiates!

Citlalli Urzua was the 5th member of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Incorporated to be initiated into the Beta Rho Chapter of Order Omega. In her sorority, she has held the positions of VP of Marketing, Fundraising Chair, and Alumni Relations Chair. This year she is currently holding the position of Philanthropy Chair. She has also been highly involved on Bradley’s campus. She has served as the President of the Multicultural Association of Pre-Health Students, a Peer Mentor, and a Bradley Advocate for Diversity Peer Educator. She is also a part of two honor societies known as Alpha Epsilon Delta and Tri Beta.

She has also had the opportunity to work as a scribe at three hospitals. After graduation, Citlalli will be applying to a Master’s Program in Cardiac Perfusion. Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc.

Only two days until initiation! Kelvin Lopez-Uriostegui will be the first member of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Incorporated to be initiated into the Beta Rho Chapter of Order Omega. He has been involved within the Bradley and Peoria community. He began taking on the role of VP of Program Development and Marketing Director during his first semester as a member. Over the past years, he has also been involved within Latinx Caucus and many other committees. This year he is the current President for the Gamma Zeta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Incorporated and the Vice President of the Spanish Club.

Kelvin has held a Preconstruction Internship with Power Construction in the past and is excited to take on a new internship with Clune Construction this upcoming summer.
Bradley Betas

At our upcoming initiation, Allison Kavanaugh will be the 800th member to be initiated into the Beta Rho Chapter of Order of Omega. She is a member of Alpha Chi Omega at Bradley University and has been in a leadership role since her freshman year. She started as the VP of Facility Operations at her chapter and then moved on to be the Director of Programming for the Panhellenic Council. This year she has taken on the challenge of being the Student Assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life.

She is also currently holding the position of Vice President for the Society of Human Resource Management and is looking forward to working a Human Resource internship at Klein Tools over the summer.

At the upcoming April 22nd Initiation Eric Winkelman will be the Fifth member of Theta Xi Fraternity to be initiated into the Beta Rho Chapter of Order of Omega. Eric started his leadership journey in his chapter as the Scholarship Chair and Treasurer. He then served as the Public Relations Specialist for the Fraternity and Sorority Programming Board. Currently, he is Theta Xi’s Philanthropy Chair.

Eric has also been very active in other clubs and activities around campus. He has played Trumpet for the Bradley Jazz ensembles, worked as a student research assistant for two different professors, and has held leadership positions for Chi Epsilon and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Currently, he is the president of Tau Beta Pi.

He also has had the opportunity to work various internships with IDOT and Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT). After graduation, he is looking forward to working for CMT.

Order of Omega Initiate Spotlight!

At our Initiation on April 22, Noelle Burkey will be the 85th member of Sigma Kappa to be initiated into the Beta Rho Chapter of Order of Omega. In her chapter, she started as Historian and then moved up to President. She also happily served as a Rho Gamma during formal recruitment in 2022.

Noelle has also been active at Bradley as a STAR and a member of Campus Outreach. Outside of campus, she has been a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.

After graduation, Noelle is looking forward to moving to Bloomington with her fiancee.
