Rainy days like today feel a little brighter because of people like Angela!โ๏ธ
A cancer survivor, talented quilter, and longtime Foundation friend, Angela McCubbins continues to give back in inspiring ways.๐๏ธ
Each year, Angela generously gifts her talents to our mission by donating a homemade apple pie to kick off our CUREageous live auction and beautiful quilted pieces for our silent auction.๐ฅง
Last week, she went above and beyond by donating 11 handmade quilts to our Illinois CancerCare Washington clinic !!!๐งต๐ชก
Each one is a gift of comfort, care, and compassion.
Angela, thank you for being a light in our community and for the difference you make in so many lives.๐

This summer, our Illinois CancerCare Student Volunteers are discovering the heart of healthcare and learning that even the seemingly smallest roles make a valuable impression on the overall patient experience. ๐
Over the next 10 weeks, theyโll step inside the world of oncology care by supporting patients, learning from our dedicated healthcare teams, and witnessing the impact of comprehensive, compassionate care in action.โ๏ธ
Weโre proud to play a role in shaping the next generation of healthcare leaders! ๐๏ธ

Today we celebrate Kelsey Keyser! After seven years at Illinois CancerCare Foundation, Kelsey is leaving to work for a family business (lucky them!) and spend more time with her busy boys. We will miss seeing her smiling face in the office each day but are excited to hear all about this new chapter! Please join us in thanking Kelsey for sharing all her talents with Illinois CancerCare Foundation!
