Here are your announcements for Monday, September 21st:
Today was the start of Spirit Week, and the countdown is officially on until our first Varsity Homecoming game this Friday and our HOCO Dance this Saturday! We kicked off Spirit Week today with our Soccer Moms and BBQ Dads on campus. We can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with for the rest of the week!
Tomorrow, STUGO will be hosting House Games during lunch, so be sure to wear your ALA House Color Polo tomorrow and Thursday.
Homecoming tickets are officially on sale! Head to GoFan.co. Remember, you need TWO things in order to attend the HOCO Dance: payment for your ticket through GoFan AND a completed and turned-in Dance Contract. EVERYONE attending the dance must have a signed Dance Contract turned in. No exceptions! Dance Contracts are available in the front office.
Attention Junior High Girls! If you are interested in playing softball, there will be a Softball Camp on September 23rd and 24th at Victory Lane from 3:45–5:00 PM. If you would like more information, stop by the Athletic Department.
Our Defenders had an incredible weekend of racing! At the Paradise Honors Invitational, Madelyn Barth took 1st in the Girls Freshman Race, while Brinlyn Johnson earned 2nd in the Girls Varsity Race! Our JH runners also had strong finishes at the Sunset in Paradise Meet, with Ryder Herrera placing 6th, Alex Herring 12th, and Audrey Fagerlie 16th in their respective races. Even more impressive, our athletes recorded 8 personal bests across both meets!
This Friday, our Defenders head to Desert Twilight, one of the nation’s biggest cross country meets! They’ll compete against athletes from 250 schools, including some of the best runners from around the country. Good luck, Defenders!
