Happy Embrace the Unwritten Chapters 🌟

Every page turned, every word written has led us to this point. Yet, what's been written in our story so far counts less than how we choose to fill up the rest of the pages.

It’s easy to forget that every day grants another opportunity to rewrite our narrative, to paint our stories with colors of resilience, purpose, and growth. We have a say in what we prioritize, what we focus on, and the energy we bring to every situation that arises. We get to choose…

Drop a 💜 if you are willing.

May HOPE spring eternal! 💜

Hopeful people can face even the most unfavourable times with a positive attitude. And because of the many health benefits of optimism, it significantly improves our mental health.

In one study, researchers looked into the effect that the trait had on college students. The research shows that hope is imperative to academic achievement. Students with high levels of optimism are more likely to succeed at school, more likely to have high-quality friendships, and less likely to suffer anxiety and depression. It’s easy to see why. When you are positive that hard work will pay off, you are more likely to go the extra mile to succeed. Optimistic students put more time into studies because they believe they can succeed. And because of this, they achieve higher results than students with low levels of hope.

Not only is there the belief hard work will pay off but a greater understanding is that education and learning is something that belongs to you forever oh, and no one can take it away.

Why is vocal variety so valuable!?

Many reasons. Vocal variety is more than merely avoiding the dreaded monotone. It is, at its foundation, the life that you breathe into what you say and do onstage.

Toastmasters International - 06/02/2020

Toastmasters International’s traditional education program ends on June 30, the last day of the 2019-2020 program year. After that, Pathways will be the sole education program.

Pathways projects were designed with flexibility and challenges in place. Once members achieve success in their clubs, they can transfer those skills out into the world—into their Toastmasters Districts, other organizations, the workplace, their personal relationships, even politics, government, and community service. It was Smedley’s hope that members would parlay what they learned in their clubs out into their communities.
