It is so much fun to teach kids how to sew on a sewing machine for the very first time! ❤️
Kids are already so comfortable with technology and electronic gadgets, and once they learn how to operate a sewing machine, a whole new world of creativity opens up. Suddenly, their ideas can come alive with fabric, thread, and so many fun projects! 🪡✂️

What a great way to finish the sewing week! 🧵💗
Last class for this week, and these kids were busy! We had backpacks, bags, whales, chickens, and so many fun projects being completed. 🐋🐔🎒
I love seeing how proud they are when they finish something they made themselves. With every project, they’re learning new sewing skills, becoming more confident, and having lots of fun along the way.
This was a SUPER fun class and a wonderful way to end our sewing week! 🪡✂️❤️

👹🧵 SCRAPPY MONSTERS OCTOBER SEWING WORKSHOP 🧵👹

Get ready to create the cutest, silliest little monsters from fabric scraps!

In this fun 2-hour sewing workshop, kids will design and sew their own Scrappy Monsters. They can mix and match fabrics, buttons, yarn, felt, and fun details to give each monster its own unique personality. ❤️

There will be enough time to make at least TWO monsters — one to keep and one to give to a friend!

🎒 We will also add a clip to each monster so it can be attached to a backpack, school bag, or wherever your child wants to take their new little friend.

Workshop Details:
📅 October 13 9:30am to 11:30am or 4pm to 6pm — choose your preferred time
⏰ 2-hour workshop
💰 $70 per student

Here is the first of many cool workshops we are going to offer this school year. I have many kids ready to start sewing for the first time and this is ✨ A great introduction for anyone who wants to feel comfortable using a sewing machine before attending one of our workshops!

🧵 Introduction to the Sewing Machine Workshop

Designed for **kids ages 7–14**, this 90-minute workshop focuses on the basic skills and techniques needed to **safely and confidently use a sewing machine**.

✂️ Students will learn how to:

* Become familiar with the sewing machine and its basic functions
* Thread and operate the sewing machine
* Practice basic stitching and machine control
* Learn important sewing machine safety
* Become familiar with basic sewing tools
* **Complete a small sewing project to take home!**

🪡 **Sewing machines, sewing tools, and supplies are provided in class.**
