Head to the Lakeview library branch on Friday to plant your own mini garden!

As a part of our Summer Reading "Plant a Seed, Read!" program, come to Peoria Public Library's Lakeview branch to make your own miniature garden!
Decorate a small flower pot with small figures, and take home their very own succulent to grow in it!
Free and for ages 6-12.

This craft will include hot glue and messy materials. Any children who participate in this program will need to have an accompanying adult with them.

Back for its sixth year, the park district is proud to offer unlimited access to Peoria Zoo, Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum, Owens Ice Center, Golf Learning Center, Gwynn Family Aquatic Center and the pool at Proctor Recreation Center for PPS students and their families, June 1 through August 31, thanks to funding from the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority.

Passes should have been received in the mail this week. Didn’t get one? Simply bring in a student ID, report card, or anything else as proof of school attendance to the Noble Center (1125 W Lake Ave) or Proctor Recreation Center (309 S DuSable St) pick up one today!
