Some days in childcare really remind you why you do what you do. 🥹🩷

I received the sweetest card and gift from Olivia’s family as she gets ready to head off to school.

Her mom wrote about how terrified she was on Olivia’s very first day to leave her baby with someone else—and now, years later, Olivia still remembers me, my home, my animals, and all the friends she made here. 😭

There is something incredibly special about a family trusting you with their baby…and then years later trusting you all over again with their next little one. 🥹

I’ve had the privilege of watching Olivia grow from that little baby into the funny, smart, independent girl she is today, and while I’m so sad to see her leave Steppingstones, I’m so excited for everything waiting for her at school.

Thankfully, this isn’t goodbye to her family just yet—I still get to love on her little sibling every day. 🩷

Thank you for trusting me with your babies and for the incredibly thoughtful gift. Knowing that your children have felt safe, loved and at home here means more to me than you know.

Go do big things at school, Olivia! 🎒✏️🌻
