Illinois Social Studies writers: please consider submitting a manuscript to The Interdisciplinary Journal of Problem-based Learning (IJPBL) special strand focused on economics, citizenship, or moral education. Manuscripts may address any one or combination of these areas.
The journal publishes research, analysis, or promising practice articles related to K-12 and post-secondary classrooms. The journal publishes manuscripts that explore inquiry methods, project-based learning, or problem based learning within economics, citizenship and/or moral education.
Theory into practice articles are especially welcome, describing the use of problem-based, project-based, or inquiry methods. Empirical (data-driven) and conceptual (grounded in theory) manuscripts are also being solicited.
Please consider submitting your 20 to 30-page manuscript using 6th Edition APA formatting guidelines by March 15. The submission link is provided on the right hand side of website at the following link: http://docs.lib.purdue.edu/ijpbl/policies.html. When submitting through the on-line system, please include “Special Strand 2019” in the title for tracking purposes.
All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by experts in the primary content area of the author’s discipline.
For questions or concerns about this special strand, please contact the guest editors:
