It's beginning to look a lot like....winter planting? Yes, just in time for the holidays. Thank you to Mrs. Curtis, Mrs. Quintana, and all our bulldogs for making our campus look even better with your 'green thumbs'.
Mrs. Curtis’s 2nd grade class was surprised with a donut party yesterday for donating the most food to the CBJHS canned food drive. Mrs. Curtis’s class alone donated a total of 235 non-perishable food items!!! Wow!

Arizona band directors will march in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. We send a shout out to Cotton Boll's Mr. Bryan Malone who will be representing at Macy's Parade including four other Peoria Unified band directors. A group of band directors and music educators from across North America will be marching in the Band Director's Marching Band. Our district construction and electrical teams completed and installed the new library desk. Next to come; updated shelving, tables and flexible seating. We are grateful for our Peoria community tax dollars that allow us to complete projects such as these!

📈 October is National Economic Education Month
This partnership with ACEE brings financial industry experts, Peoria Police AZ, and district leadership into our classrooms to read to students about economic concepts and complete a lesson with each class in K-3rd grades. Economic-based books, lessons and materials are donated to our teachers to promote continued economic education for our students! 🐾

Today is Custodian Appreciation Day, though that title is merely a portion of the leadership role Mr. Miranda holds on our campus. He leads in the community he serves and always makes decisions in the best interest of our students and staff. Thank you, Mr. Miranda! Staff members wrote one word to describe him and yes, that is a gift for his smoker. IYKYK!

At tonight’s governing board meeting a special student was recognized for her artistic talents. Cali’s art received a “Director’s Choice” award during the spring of 2023. We are proud of our little Bulldog!
