Hands-on math in action! 📐✏️

Today our 6th graders rolled up their sleeves and used manipulatives to bring scale factor to life. Instead of just looking at numbers on a page, they built, measured, and saw firsthand how ratios and proportions actually work.

Who knew math could be this engaging? 🧠✨

We are incredibly grateful to Germain Honda of Surprise for their generous donation to help bring our 3W Arcade to life! Their donation included two Pop-A-Shots, bean bag chairs, a crash pad, Jumbo Connect Four, game tables, a high-top table, classroom rug, co****le, Skee-Ball, a popcorn machine, and SO much more!

The 3W Arcade is part of our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program. Students in grades 5–8 earn Mustang Money throughout the day by demonstrating The West Wing Way: Respect, Compassion, and Integrity. Students can save their Mustang Money to purchase tickets to the 3W Arcade, where they can play, relax, and spend time with friends!

Thank you, Germain Honda of Surprise, for investing in our public schools and helping us celebrate students who choose to meet our school expectations every day. Your generosity is making a difference!
