🚒 ❤️ **FIREFIGHTERS FIGHTING HUNGER!** ❤️ 🚒

A huge THANK YOU to the **Peoria Fire Department** for joining us in the fight against hunger!

On September 26th, we had the pleasure of partnering with our local firefighters for the *Firefighters Fighting Hunger Food Drive* at Kroger on Lindbergh Drive.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we collected:

🥫 **OVER 600 POUNDS OF FOOD!**

💵 **$845 IN MONETARY DONATIONS!**

We want to extend a special thank you to **Fire Chief Ryan Calhoun and the Peoria Fire Department** for their time, support, and dedication to serving our community, both on and off the clock.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to **Marjorie LaFont** for organizing this wonderful event, **Kroger** for hosting, and every volunteer, shopper, and donor who helped make it a success!

Your generosity does more than fill our pantry shelves. It helps put food on the tables of our neighbors who need it most. ❤️

"Every child deserves a good night's sleep." 💙

At PCCEO Head Start Birth to Five, we see firsthand how a safe, comfortable bed changes everything for a young child. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Sherman Family Community Foundation, many of our Head Start children and families are sleeping in their own beds tonight!!!

Through their Sweet Slumber Mattress Program, the Sherman family has shown continuous love and care for our Central Illinois community. A good night’s rest helps our little learners wake up healthy, happy, and ready to learn every single day! 📚

To the Sherman Family Community Foundation and everyone at Sherman’s, thank you for giving our children the gift of sweet dreams and restful nights. We are deeply grateful for your partnership and your heart for our families! 🙏❤️
