After World War II, the northwest side of Peoria grew rapidly and the Diocese of Peoria decided to create a new parish.
Under the guidance of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, we are a Holy Family that stresses academic excellence with unique opportunities to develop body, mind, and spirit. On April 6, 1956, the first shovel of dirt was turned for a chapel and the first six classrooms of Holy Family School. Our 8th graders took learning to new heights at our annual Rocket Day! 🚀 After learning about the science behind rockets and building their own designs, students launched them out on the field in an exciting day of hands-on STEM learning.
As graduation approaches, it was the perfect reminder that these students are ready to launch into their next chapter. 🎓
