It has been 29 years since East Peoria has won a Regional Championship, and the Lions are looking to continue that drought for the Raiders tonight.

Your Peoria High Lions will look to win their second straight Regional Championship, a feat that has not been accomplished since going back-to-back in 2012 and 2013, tonight in a rematch of state-ranked teams.

The Silver Streaks cut the Lions lead to three points in the third quarter, but your Peoria High Lions found a way to blaze through the final 10 minutes to take a 68-44 win in the semi-final round of the IHSA Class 3A Regional.

Kayden Turner led all scorers with 20 points, including five 3-point shots. Meanwhile, Nigel Moore came off of the bench with 18 points.

This sets up a Regional Championship showdown against East Peoria on Friday at Galesburg.
