Long ago, I had a cat who hated to hear me play the flute, but all my cats over the years have enjoyed listening to me play the piano. Recently, a feral cat sat on the patio and listened to me play for an hour.
In this link, you'll see a stray calico weaving among the orchestra performers and sitting down to appreciate the concert.

Forget clapping during movements or the shrill call of a mobile – now it’s cats who are disrupting classical concerts.
