Thanks to everyone who participated in the candy drive for our Trunk or Treat! We had so many trick or treaters and everyone appreciated having extra candy to pass out! The jack-o-lantern box had the most candy donated so Preschool and 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th grades will get a homework pass! 🍭🍫🍬

Our Trunk or Treat was so much fun! We had a great turn out of so many awesome trunks and a ton of trick or treaters! Thanks to you all for making it such a wonderful night for our school community! A huge thank you to all of those who signed up to decorate a trunk! There were so many creative and fun trunks out there! Our trunk competition winners are the following: 1st place: the Star Wars car, 2nd place: the light up spooky tree car and 3rd place: the Harry Potter car! We will be in touch with the winners to deliver their gift cards! Also, a huge shoutout to Card My Yard Phoenix NW, AZ for donating the cute “BOO” photo sign for our event and to Dungan Dogs The Snowy Churro AZand IHeart Kettle Corn for coming out and keeping our bellies full! We already can’t wait for next year! 🎃👻

Update: we are now up to $14,000 raised for our school! These funds go towards so many important things for our school and students like: our kids’ online reading program, student reading goal rewards, music programs, shade structures, playground enhancements and school events (dances, festivals, teacher appreciation week, etc). To add to the excitement, Mrs. Bennett has agreed to be silly stringed if we reach $20,000 and slimed if we reach $30,000! These incentives and the Day of Awesomeness will be school wide celebrations for all students no matter participation or amount of money raised! Thanks for supporting our school and our efforts!
