⭐️ We are just TWO WEEKS AWAY from the best party of the year!!

The St. Jude Parish-School Picnic is Saturday, September 12th following the 4:00 PM Mass!

Entertainment will kick off with our School Lip Sync Battles from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM, followed by Live Music with Cousin Eddy from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM! Make sure to bring a Lawn Chair!

Other Highlights: Mini Cows, Petting Zoo, KnockerBall, The Unique Twist and Twisting Crew, Bubble Stations, Face Painting, College Football, and more!

Knights of Columbus will provide Burgers, Brats, and Hot Dogs. Beer and Wine are provided too!

Please consider signing up to bring a side or dessert! We are also still in need of volunteers! School families will receive service hour credits!

Thank you to all who attended Back to School Night on Thursday! It is always a great way to get to know the classrooms, the teachers, and the whole St. Jude Family! We’re off to a great start!

In 4th grade, at their first session in the Atrium, they did graphite transfer copies of the Gospel of John 8:12 after they contemplated Christ being our light and life. We love seeing all the beautiful things students do during Catechesis of the Good Shepherd!

As our school continues to work toward more inclusion in the classroom, one of our teachers reached out to Lab Learner, our Science Curriculum Provider, asking if there was a way to enable closed captioning on their videos for a student who is hearing impaired.

They replied the very next day and said they would immediately be adding captions to the videos the teacher is currently on, and then all remaining videos for that grade.

They even mentioned they will be hiring a company to do all videos on their site for every grade. They’ve already completed the first batch of videos! It’s only been a few days!

We are super impressed by their follow through and willingness to embrace accessibility! Thank you, Lab Learner!

The 4th graders are brainstorming and planning a narrative that takes place at an amusement park. They have been creative with their characters and the problems they face. It will be so fun to read all of their stories! 📝

Father Jack joined 4th Grade at recess yesterday, and they decided to take on 5th at soccer so they had a massive competitive game! ⚽️

As we begin another school year we have some new (and returning) staff we’d love to introduce to you!
