We held our first field day at Glen Barton! The kids had an absolute blast! It was a perfect day to make some fun memories!

Our first Glen Barton School Family Fun Night is in the books! Everyone had a great time meeting the farm animals, playing with friends, and enjoying hotdog and hamburgers! The weather was perfect.

We had a visit from our friends at the Peoria Police Department today! If you’re wondering how great a time our kids had, the pictures tell the story! A big shout out to our favorite officers who keep our community safe and still find time to have fun with us! 

Today Mrs. Besslers class were change champs as they practiced real world math problems counting change and working on their speaking and listening skills while they ran their business

Mrs. Glover from Ag in the classroom visited with a bunny named Disel today. He was so soft and sweet! We also entered the poster contest to win a trip to the dairy farm- wish us luck!!

This weekend is going to be big!

Ms. Childs’ class celebrated 100 days of school this week by creating their own “100 day swag”! Every student took a moment to reflect on what they have accomplished in the past 100 days! These kids are truly amazing!

Mrs. Bessler’s class did Ag in the classroom this week. They learned about dairy products and made their own butter to try! The students loved it! Thanks Mrs. Glover for visiting and bringing this cool experiment!

Mrs. Bessler’s students finished 50 I-Ready lessons at 100%! They celebrated by making apple pie!
