🎄 Merry Christmas from Awaken Hearts Academy 🎄
If you’ve noticed we’ve been a little quiet around here since August, it’s because our days have been full—in the very best way. This year brought growth we prayed for and couldn’t have fully imagined, including the joy of expanding from one classroom to two. Our hearts (and hands!) have been busy teaching, learning, and building something really special.
As we pause to celebrate Christmas, we’re filled with gratitude—for our students, families, staff, and the Lord’s provision every step of the way. In the midst of all the growth and busyness, we’re reminded that this season isn’t about striving or accomplishments, but about the greatest gift ever given: Jesus. His coming is the reason we celebrate, and the foundation of everything we do.
We can’t wait to share more soon about all the fun, learning, and milestones from this year. For now, we pray your Christmas is filled with peace, joy, and wonder as you celebrate Him. ❤️

💡 What We Mean When We Say: “Childlike Curiosity”
At Awaken Hearts Academy, our mission is to partner with families to cultivate a learning environment where childlike curiosity, tenacious character, and compassionate hearts are awakened through their identity in Christ.
But what do we really mean when we say childlike curiosity?
To us, it means:
🔍 Kids asking big questions—and being taken seriously
🎨 Lessons that leave space for creativity and exploration
🌱 Following wonder when it shows up (even if it’s not in the lesson plan)
🧠 Learning driven by interest, not just instruction
❤️ Reminding kids it’s okay not to know yet—because discovery is the best part
We believe curiosity is a God-given spark.
And when we protect it, nurture it, and point it back to Him—amazing things happen.
This is what learning can look like when curiosity is honored.
This is what we mean. 💛
