D1 Dribbling school is dedicated to improving & enhancing your young athletes performance on & off the court. THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR THIS SKILL.
Mission: Develop AVERAGE OR UNDER SIZED basketball players into high-level players through dribbling and strength training. D1 will greatly increase your level of play by improving your dribbling skills, basketball confidence, ball toughness, strength, and overall performance. Through a wide variety of basic and advanced dribbling / non-dribbling drills, you will develop second-nature ball contro
l, movement, overall coordination, and strength. You will be able to better position yourself to score, pass, and create. MARK DICK BACKGROUND: I LIVED the challenge of being a 5’7” D1 point guard. I had a dream of playing collegiate ball and being able to dribble is one of the reasons I got there. I had an uphill battle to fight due to my height. Strength training played a major role in my success. I had many God-given talents but they needed to be matched with the weight room to get my MAXIMUM potential as a basketball player. Strength training made me stronger and more physical than a lot of guards I played against. Everything gained in the weight room gave me that “edge” and “carryover” onto the basketball court. If you are a serious basketball player, I can teach you one of the most invaluable skills that helped me achieve my basketball dream and will tremendously increase your chances as well. BALLHANDLING! With 35 years plus strength training experience, I can also SAFELY show you how to strength train to give you the edge physically and mentally to be the best basketball player you can be. There is NO OFF SEASON when it comes to strength training.
