OK, this book has been more than four years in the works, a few hurdles outside my control have been cleared, and we are finally getting close to publication. We are also redesigning the covers for all ten of the History in Person biographies and uploading the videos to our Youtube channel. Two chances to go birdwatching with John James Audubon this weekend. Friday morning at 8 am at Springfield Audubon Society, Stewards of Adams Wildlife Sanctuary, the Illinois Audubon Society headquarters on Clear Lake Avenue, sponsored by Visit Springfield. AND at the ******er, Illinois's Old School Museum on Saturday Morning at 8 am, after an evening performance Friday at 7 pm.

It was so fun to get out and celebrate my friend Abraham Lincoln's birthday at two performances this week. I am so looking forward to being in Springfield, at the Old State Capitol, every Friday, all summer, end of May through early August. Thanks Al Harkrader for capturing this range of emotion in an evening of storytelling.
