Today, we’re proud to recognize Richard Pope, our IT Technician at George Stone Technical College, and thank him for all he does to support our school!

Much of Richard’s work happens behind the scenes, but his impact is felt throughout our entire campus. From troubleshooting technical issues and keeping our technology running smoothly to helping faculty, staff, and students with their technology needs, Richard is always ready to lend a hand and find a solution.

National IT Professionals Day, celebrated annually on the third Tuesday of September, is a time to recognize the system administrators, network engineers, cybersecurity professionals, IT technicians, and help desk specialists who keep our digital world running.

PROGRAM OF THE WEEK – POST #3 - Master Automotive Service Technology

This week, we’re highlighting our Master Automotive Service Technology Program, led by Instructor Travis Ellison!

Students in this program are preparing for a wide range of exciting careers in the automotive industry. Upon completion, graduates can pursue many different career paths—from working as a bay technician to becoming a service advisor and beyond.

One of the great advantages of the program is the opportunity to earn ASE certifications A1–A8 during your time here. These industry-recognized certifications help students build their skills, knowledge, and confidence as they prepare to enter the automotive workforce.

We also want to give a special shoutout to our Assistant Instructor, Gary Kaemmerer! We truly appreciate the experience, knowledge, and support Gary brings to the classroom and shop. His dedication to helping students learn and succeed makes a real difference every day.
