This past Saturday, the West Florida High School Swim team participated in the Amy Wolfenden Invitational Swim Meet at the UWF Aquatic Center. With double-digit schools participating, the Boys took 3rd place with the Girls coming in 4th! Overall, the Swim Team combined for a 3rd place finish with over 300 swimmers participating.

Freshman Marcela Dos Santos was a standout for the Jags notching a 1st place finish in the 200-yard freestyle and a 2nd place finish in the 100 butterfly. She also helped the Jaguars secure two top 4 finishes in the 200 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay. -Justin Washburn: 2nd in both 200 & 500 freestyle
-Josh Guello: 2nd in 100 breaststroke & 4th in 100 butterfly
-Callie Coleman, Isla Fox, and Nicholas Lypko: all three finished top 5 in multiple events

It's time to get this show on the road! We'll have our interest meeting for the 2026-27 season at 5:30 p.m. September 23 in the South Auditorium. (Just inside the main entrance of the school.)

We'll walk you through the tryouts process, schedule for the season, and answer any other questions you might have.

If you're of the freshman variety, we highly recommend parents and players attend this meeting. (And it's a pretty good idea for everyone else, too.)

-Hints for applying to college
-Information about financial assistance, scholarships, tuition and fees
-Facts on degree programs
-Answers about student life and housing

The event will take place from 3:00-4:30 P.M. at the PSC Pensacola Campus.
