The UWF Jazz Club is a chapter of the Jazz Society of Pensacola (JSOP).
Through campus-wide events, we hope to give UWF students a home for jazz listening, performance, and appreciation. The UWF Jazz Club hopes to entice UWF students with a taste of Jazz, America's Classical Music. Some events we will be planning include: Jazz Film Appreciation nights, Small concerts and Dances (Hopefully arranged with the UWF Swing Dance Club), and Jam nights, in which every week a few songs will be selected for everyone to learn and then jam on later that week.
Hey guys just talked to Mr. Ferry there will be no Jazz club meeting tomorrow just a heads up.

Jazz Jam Night tonight at 7:30 at The CFPCA! It'll be right up the backstairs in the rehearsal hall!
It's Official: The first UWF Jazz Club Jam Night will be October 11th. It will be held in the CFPCA's Rehearsal Hall at 7:30pm. The charts we will be looking through include: Girl from Ipanema, Fly me To The Moon, Blues in the Closet, and Mercy, Mercy. Charts will be provided at the event, but feel free to look them over!
