UWF unveils new Sandy Sansing Sports Medicine Center for student-athletes PENSACOLA, Fla. -- The University of West Florida held a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday for a new facility for their student-athletes.

Today marks my 13th work anniversary with UWF!

Reflecting on this journey, I'm grateful for the countless opportunities to explore, learn, and make a meaningful impact in our community. Over the years, I've encountered challenges that have pushed me to grow personally and professionally.

While the path hasn't always been easy, each obstacle has been a stepping stone toward becoming the professional I am today, and I couldn't be prouder of the person I've become.

Thank you to everyone at UWF for being my work home and for your unwavering support throughout these 13 incredible years. Here's to many more milestones together!

• Tuesday 11/14, 1p-3p, Resume Workshop in The Library, Room 123 (Computer Lab). 💻 Learn how to make your resume stand out in the crowd to land that dream job!
• Wednesday 11/15, 10a-12p, “Paint Your Dream Job,” activity outside of The Commons. 🎨 Speaking of that dream job, what is it?! We’d love to see your masterpiece!
• Thursday 11/16, 12p-2p, “Cocoa & Career Chat,” inside The Commons Great Hall. ☕ Practice networking with real employers from the community. You can do it! Plus, free hot cocoa bar as a reward!

Over the weekend, I had the privilege of presenting at the 33rd Japan-U.S. Teacher Education Consortium (JUSTEC) Conference alongside my colleagues, Drs. William Crawley and Hongwei Yang. Our focus was on the subject of Mentoring Future Teachers. The conference sessions provided an enlightening experience to delve into the world of educators from around the globe.
