Today our sixth graders and new middle school students were knighted by Fr. Craig and sorted into one of four houses: St. Michael the Archangel, St. Joseph, St. Thomas More and St. Stephen. Each house, named for a local Catholic school that is no longer open, has a charitable focus and projects for the year. Students earn points to help their house win a trophy at the end of the year.

Sixth Grade had a blast at Dauphin Island last week! Activities included stomping in the fragrant marsh for to catch tiny organisms, dissecting squid, and using the squid ink and "pen" or gladius to write their names with!

Pope Leo was born on September 14, 1955 in Chicago, USA. Our school dressed down today in white and yellow in honor of his birthday!

We are so proud to celebrate two of our St. Paul alumni on being named National Merit Semifinalists! What an incredible accomplishment and a wonderful reflection of their hard work, dedication, and God-given talents.

Congratulations, Luke and Parker! May God continue to guide your paths, bless your endeavors, and lead you toward all He has planned for you. We are proud to call you Spartans!

CHS is very grateful to announce and congratulate 3 Seniors who have been named National Merit Semifinalists: Parker Hodge, Everett Raybourn, and Luke Juhas!

They now eligible for the opportunity to be named National Merit Finalists and Scholarship recipients which will be announced during the second semester.

Exciting news for our music program! 🎶

Congratulations to Mrs. Stubblefield on receiving a grant from the Catholic Foundation of Northwest Florida! Thanks to this generous grant, our students will enjoy a new string bass, a set of hand chimes, new music stands, and—perhaps most importantly—a cart to make transporting everything to performances much easier!

We are so grateful for teachers like Mrs. Stubblefield who go above and beyond to create wonderful opportunities for our Spartans. Our students are truly blessed by the dedication of their teachers! 💙

Today our newly elected Student Council officers and representatives were formally installed in their new roles. We are so proud of our students for stepping up into positions of leadership and can't wait to see the positive changes they will bring about this year!

The gardening elective is putting together the new metal planter boxes for the garden area! Students brainstormed ideas to improve the garden and decided they wanted to update the beds. They asked Mrs. Hodge to come in as they presented reasons why they felt this was important to do. The most impactful reason was to improve the area for future students, because they wanted to leave a legacy that others could enjoy. They researched different types of garden beds and invited Mr. Dion in to present their findings. He helped them look closely at the features of each one so they could learn what was the most important before making a decision. These students are great examples of selfless hard workers!
