As you drive across Florida this summer, keep an eye out for the License to Learn specialty plate. 🚗☀️

Every one of those plates tells a story of someone choosing to support students, teachers, and public education right in their own community.

When you purchase a License to Learn plate, $20 stays in the county where the plate is registered to support programs through your local education foundation. That means your everyday drive can help fund classroom resources, student programs, teacher support, and opportunities that make a real difference close to home.

Vacation mode looks even better when it supports public education. 💙 Get your plate at LicenseToLearnFL.com

We’re proud to celebrate the success of our literacy initiative - Reading The World! 📚✨
This project brought novel studies to life, giving students the opportunity to dive into rich texts, explore complex characters and themes, and strengthen their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Through meaningful discussions, collaborative activities, and writing with text evidence, students grew not only academically—but also in confidence as readers and communicators.
By intentionally challenging gifted and advanced learners, this initiative ensured that every student was engaged, inspired, and pushed to reach their full potential. Even more importantly, students developed a genuine love for reading—connecting ideas across subjects, including STEM, and learning to think critically about the world around them.
With resources that will continue to benefit students for years to come, this project has created a lasting impact on the literacy culture at Molino Park Elementary PTA So proud of our students for turning pages with purpose and rising to the challenge! 🌟📖
Continued thanks to Alex Andrade, Representative Michelle Salzman, and Don Gaetz for their continued support of the Florida Education Foundation and to Consortium of Florida Education Foundations School District Education Foundation Matching Grant for helping to make this opportunity possible.

We’re proud to celebrate the success of our Wizards of Ozobots project! 🤖✨
This innovative initiative brought coding, robotics, and literacy to life for our students at Oakcrest Elementary School through hands-on learning with Ozobot Evo kits. For many, this was their very first experience with STEM—and they rose to the challenge with creativity, curiosity, and teamwork.
Students explored coding concepts, solved real-world problems, and connected their learning to science, math, and reading through engineering journals and collaborative projects. Along the way, they built confidence, strengthened critical thinking skills, and learned how to clearly communicate their ideas.
This project helped open doors to future opportunities in STEM while making learning engaging, meaningful, and fun. We’re so proud of our students and excited to see how they continue to grow! 🚀📚
Continued thanks to Alex Andrade, Representative Michelle Salzman, and Don Gaetz for their continued support of the Florida Education Foundation and to Consortium of Florida Education Foundations School District Education Foundation Matching Grant for helping to make this opportunity possible.

We’re proud to celebrate the success of our Living Garden Project! 🌱📚
This hands-on initiative transformed outdoor spaces into vibrant learning environments where PK–5 students connected science and literacy in meaningful, real-world ways. Through building and maintaining raised garden beds and sensory areas, students explored plant life, ecosystems, weather, and sustainability—all while strengthening their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
The impact has been incredible. Students showed greater engagement in both STEM and literacy, participated in inquiry-based learning, and developed stronger communication and problem-solving skills through journaling, research, and collaboration.
Most importantly, the Living Garden has become a lasting part of the school culture at Montclair Elementary School—a sustainable, outdoor classroom that will continue to benefit students for years to come.
So proud of our students, teachers, and community for bringing this vision to life and creating a space where learning truly grows! 🌼🌿

Northview High School Electrathon team built something exciting! 🚗⚡
This project focused on hands-on learning in electrical systems and green energy. The team, led by Mr. Amerson, worked toward growing their fleet from one car to three, and competing in Electrathon events across the county and beyond where students collaborated to maximize efficiency—getting the most laps out of a limited energy supply.
Along the way, students built, tested, and adapted their cars for different track conditions, developing real-world problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and technical skills.
We’re especially proud to share that the team earned 3rd place at the Emerald Coast Classic race at Five Flags Speedway—a huge accomplishment that reflects their dedication and hard work! 🏁
Students also had the opportunity to earn a state-recognized certification, giving them a strong foundation for future careers.
This program supported the growing need for sustainable energy solutions while inspiring the next generation of innovators. Proud of what these students accomplished and excited for what comes next! 🌱🔋
As always, we would like to thank Alex Andrade, Representative Michelle Salzman, and Don Gaetz for their continued support of the Florida Education Foundation and to Consortium of Florida Education Foundations School District Education Foundation Matching Grant for helping to make this opportunity possible.
