Congratulations to two of our parents that graduated today from college. Their roads have not been easy with having little children, working, going to school, etc. We are so happy for both of them.

In the past 2 weeks we had 5 kids /1 staff with a fast 24 stomach bug. A parent asked if we clean good. Here is some pictures of our cleaning. Yes, the staff clean an constantly have kids wash hands. All it takes it one child coming in sick and spreading to others. We tell parents if your child is sick do not give medicine and send them to school. Children get sick, teachers can get sick, vice versa. We can say with our parents, if their child gets sick, when we call they come immediately and pick up.

Scenic Preschool will be starting a new half day program for ages 1-4. We will start the new classes on April 27, 2026.

We use the Funshine curriculum along with a non-denominational Christian Program.

Price:
1 year old - $165.00 a week
2 year old - $155.00 a week
3 year old - $135.00 a week
4-5 year old - $135.00 (5 year old not in school system)

We do accept the Early Learning Coalition Voucher Program.

Free VPK for the 2026-2027,
Monday through Thursday, 8:00-12:30. Morning care before 8:00 is free. For aftercare from 12:30- 5:15 there is a fee.

ECPS New Student Registration Opening March 30, 2026!

The Escambia County School District has announced Pre- kindergarten, Kindergarten, and new student registration for the 2026-2027 school year will begin on March 30, 2026..

All families are encouraged to register early this year. The preferred registration deadline for all students not currently attending one of our schools is June 30, 2026. The first day of the 2026-2027 school year in Escambia County is August 12, 2026.

Beginning on March 30, 2026, the parents or guardians of students reaching the age of five years old by September 1, 2026 are eligible to register their students to attend kindergarten either at the school of their residence or at one of the District’s choice schools.

“Escambia County Public Schools is looking forward to welcoming our new students for this coming school year, and are working to continue our tradition of providing awesome opportunities for all our students to learn and grow,” said Chris McFarland, Coordinator of Enrollment Services.

Students wishing to attend the school for which they are residentially zoned can register directly at the school after completing the Focus Registration application, located on the school district website. https://focus.escambia.k12.fl.us/focus/auth/

Students wishing to take advantage of School Choice can apply directly in the School Choice Office or on the school district website after completing the new student registration process, https://www.escambiaschools.org/Page/5413 Once the Choice school is approved, the parent or guardian can register at the approved choice school.

The following documentation should be taken to the school at the time of registration. Registration is not complete until all documents have been approved and forms have been signed.

❏ Physical (or appointment card for upcoming physical)
