Last month, three of our 4th grade students had the honor of laying a wreath at sea in tribute to General Bernardo de Gálvez. They earned this special opportunity after placing as winner and runner-up in a county-wide essay competition hosted by the Pensacola Heritage Foundation. Way to go, Dragons!

We have an important opportunity for CLA parents concerned about the dangers of Social Media! Monday, June 1st, Levin Papantonio will be hosting a free community Town Hall on social media addiction and harm, and we hope you’ll come join in on this important conversation.
Social Media Harm Town Hall
Monday, June 1, 2026 | 6:00–8:00 PM
Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center
913 S I St., Pensacola, FL 32502
The event is open to the public, but if you're a parent or caregiver, this town hall is especially worth attending. You'll hear from our attorneys, mental health advocates, and community leaders about the real risks social media poses to kids and teens, and leave with practical steps you can actually use at home. This event connects directly to work happening inside this firm. Mike Papantonio has been at the forefront of advocating this litigation nationally, and Emmie Paulos serves on the Plaintiff Steering Committee for the Social Media Adolescent Addiction/Personal Injury Product Liability MDL, one of the largest coordinated litigations in the country targeting platform accountability for harm to children. That work is already producing results. This past March, a jury found Meta and YouTube negligent in a landmark social media addiction case, and that outcome is exactly the kind of result this litigation is built to produce.
Free to attend! Parking on site. Food and beverages will be provided. Click the link below to Rsvp.

It was such a special afternoon reconnecting, seeing updates on campus, and reminiscing about their time at CLA. While we missed a few classmates, we’re wishing each of them the very best as they head into this exciting next chapter!

We are incredibly proud of our 8th graders following their recent Outward Bound experience! This journey provided a powerful opportunity for growth, resilience, and self-discovery—and it remains one of the traditions that makes our school so special.
Our partnership with Outward Bound spans more than 40 years, continuing to shape generations of students in meaningful, lasting ways.

Maureen Lecesse and Melissa Hessler are celebrating 20 years at CLA, Jennifer Mitchell is celebrating 30 years, and Kristin Ball is celebrating 40 years.
Their commitment to our students and passion for education continue to shape the heart of our campus. We are so grateful for all they do each and every day! 🍎
