4 days until we’re back on campus! We’ve been busy making a few updates around campus, including refreshed stage flooring and shelving, updated landscaping, and a new car line awning. No more "eaky awning" — if you know, you know. ☔

6 days left until the 1st day of school! Today, faculty and staff kicked off the school year with another engaging professional development session led by Glenn Whitman of The Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning (CTTL). This marks our fourth year studying the Science of Learning and exploring how research can inform and strengthen our teaching practices.

Through this ongoing work, our educators continue to dive into the science behind how students learn, including the role of neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to form and strengthen connections through learning and experience. By connecting neuroscience and cognitive science to classroom practice, we’re continuing to find new ways to help our students learn, grow, and thrive.

We’re happy to welcome Harper to the 4th grade class at CLA! Harper is looking forward to participating in the sports and music programs at school this year. She will also be joining her older sister, Sawyer (rising 6th). Welcome, Harper!

Meet Nora — one of the newest members of our CLA community! Nora will be joining the Preprimary program and can't wait to meet her classmates. One word used to describe Nora is empathetic, as she loves to lend a helping hand to those around her. Welcome to the lair!

We said "aloha" to a new school year at last week's Back-to-School Luau! 🌺 It was a fun evening reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new families, and kicking off an exciting year at CLA.

Raise your hand if you are ready for Preprimary! Sydney will be joining the Preprimary program this year and can't wait for school to start. She loves books and enjoys participating in reading events at local libraries. See you soon!

It’s time for another ! Say hello to Henry, joining our Kindergarten class this year. We're told Henry is very outgoing and loves to try new things. He will be joining his older sister, Cordelia (rising 3rd), this year. We’re so happy to have you at CLA!

We’re happy to welcome Cullen to the Kindergarten class this year! Two of Cullen's favorite activities include playing tee ball and hanging out with his family and friends. See you in just a few weeks!
