Pace Center for Girls, Escambia / Santa Rosa Pace provides girls an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, and training.

Pace is a nonprofit organization that has served more than 40,000 girls since 1985. We believe all girls, regardless of their story, deserve a safe and supportive space where they can become strong, compassionate, and successful women. Pace combines education, counseling, and life skills coaching for girls in middle and high school at no cost. Our year-round academics and mental health supports work hand-in-hand to achieve a holistic and comprehensive path to success. The Pace Reach Program provides therapy where you are, offering social, emotional, and behavioral health and case management services for girls ages 11-17 and their families at no cost. Reach helps girls build relationships, learn communication skills, build positive coping skills, improve grades and more from the comfort of familiar places

Our guest speaker, Santia from Santia's Natural Hair Care, stopped by to share her experience and show our girls that there’s so much more to owning a salon than just knowing your way around a styling chair!
From marketing your business and building your brand to learning the steps to become a cosmetologist and salon owner, Santia gave our girls plenty to think about and dream BIG about!

Big things are happening at Pace, and we’re welcoming new girls into both our Day Program and REACH Program! 💜

Wondering which program is the right fit?
🌟 Pace Day Program
Our year round Day Program provides girls with a supportive environment where they can focus on academics, personal growth, and their future. Girls receive individualized academic support, counseling, life skills, leadership opportunities, and connections to resources that help them reach their goals.

💫 REACH Program
REACH is designed for girls who may not need the academic Day Program but would benefit from individualized mental health support. Girls receive one on one services from licensed mental health professionals, helping them build skills, work through challenges, and feel supported as they move forward.

Whether you’re looking for academic support, personal growth, mental health services, or a combination of support, Pace is here to help girls discover what they’re capable of.

A massive THANK YOU to WoodmenLife - Chapter 1, Pensacola, FL for stopping by Pace on September 11th! ❤️

We loved showing them around our Center, introducing them to our mission, and sharing all the amazing things happening with our Pace girls. 💫

This wonderful new connection began when one of our amazing Board members, Brandy, shared about Pace with a friend and helped open the door for WoodmenLife Chapter 1 to learn more about our mission and come for a visit. It’s such a beautiful reminder of the impact that simply sharing Pace’s story and advocating for our girls can have in our community. 🤝

THEN, just when we thought the tour was the highlight of the day… SURPRISE! 🎉 They gifted Pace with a generous donation to support our girls!

We are so grateful for their generosity, their interest in our mission, and for choosing to Believe in Girls alongside us. 💛

We had the BEST time welcoming the ladies of the Pensacola Chapter of PEO International to Pace last week!

PEO has been a longtime supporter of Pace, and we were thrilled to welcome their newest members for a special look inside our center. They toured the building, heard directly from a Pace girl about her experience, and learned all about the programs, partnerships, and exciting things happening at Pace!

The PEO ladies also brought along goodies for our Girls’ Points Spending Closet, where girls can use points they earn for positive choices, attendance, and participation to shop for items they love. We know those goodies are going to be a BIG hit! 🛍️

Thank you to the Pensacola Chapter of PEO Sisterhood for continuing to believe in girls, showing up for our girls, and giving your newest members a chance to see firsthand what makes Pace so special. We are so grateful for your continued friendship and support! 💕

Our Transition Services team helps girls build the skills and confidence they need for life beyond Pace through:
✨ Resume Writing
💼 Interview & Job Skills Training
🎓 College Tours & Applications
💚 Coping Skills & Mental Health Support
🤝 Connections to Community Resources

Right now, 51 girls are receiving Transition Services, and we’re proud of the progress they’re making:
🌟 100% have successfully caught up academically and either returned to traditional school or graduated.
🎓 100% of our 2026 graduates are currently attending college, trade school, and/or employed.
💙 100% of girls on juvenile probation have successfully completed probation or had no additional charges while receiving Transition Services.

💙 A Community That Shows Up for Our Girls 💙

We are incredibly grateful for the many ways Momentum Church - Pensacola continues to stand alongside Pace girls! On August 30th, our Executive Director, Kristin Koenigsfest, was honored to accept a generous contribution on behalf of the girls we serve at Momentum’s “Night of Worship” event. ✨

What makes this partnership especially meaningful is that Momentum’s commitment extends far beyond financial giving. Their team spends time with our girls, builds genuine connections, and creates opportunities for FUN through bingo nights, ice cream parties, and more! 🍦

Those moments matter. They remind our girls that their community sees their potential, believes in their futures, and is cheering them on every step of the way. 🎉

💜 Showing Up Together for International Overdose Awareness Day
On August 31st, communities around the world recognize International Overdose Awareness Day, remembering those whose lives have been lost to overdose, supporting the families who carry that loss, and raising awareness about prevention.
This year, Pace was grateful to stand alongside two incredible community partners honoring this important day.
🕯️ Our Executive Director, Kristin Koenigsfest, joined Jayla’s Voice; for the Purple Pulse International Overdose Awareness Day Signature Candlelight Vigil, featuring guest speaker Officer Tommy Norman. The evening brought families and community members together to honor lives lost and shine a light on education, awareness, and prevention.
💜 Our Development Director, Ashley Donahoo, joined Hope Above Fear for its 4th Annual International Overdose Awareness Day gathering, where more than 120 community members came together for remembrance, connection, healing, and hope, including a moving tribute honoring 45 loved ones whose lives were lost.
We’re grateful for partners like Jayla’s Voice and Hope Above Fear, whose work with Pace helps connect our girls and families to education, resources, support, and a stronger community of care. Together, we remember, raise awareness, and keep showing up for hope. 💙💜
