Beautiful U Body Sculpting and Wellness Spa participates in the UWF Center for Entrepreneurship Shadowing Program.
Last week, Darresha Booker had the opportunity to shadow Aisha Westbrook, the owner of Beautiful U Body Sculpting & Wellness Spa. Darresha loved learning about what it is like to own your own business and how Aisha runs hers. She also learned what to expect in the process of opening a business including several important management aspects. According to Darresha, getting to shadow somebody with entrepreneurial experience was a valuable experience and she is grateful for this opportunity.
Aisha opened her business with the aim to help others with their self-esteem and self-confidence. Beautiful U Body Sculpting and Wellness Spa provides quality, comprehensive treatment accompanied by wellness services designed to help clients reach a state of well-being.

Starting next week - The Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program!
The Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program is a live series of courses that also includes ten workshops and five networking events, in a virtual (online) setting, designed for new and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The course walks those new to entrepreneurship through the greatest problem areas. These areas include marketing, finance, idea discovery, legal and human resources, veteran’s benefits, financing for veterans, transitioning to civilian life, and culminate in business plan development.
All events run from April 7 to June 21, 2021. Each week consists of one to two live virtual meetings (either instructional courses, workshops, or networking events). Only 10 to 15 students are allowed in each cohort so participants will receive a lot of one on one attention from the professor.
These efforts were made possible by the generous donations of The Studers. Quint Studer

Bear General Contractors participates in the UWF Center for Entrepreneurship Shadowing Program.
This week, Dannon Hooks had the opportunity to shadow Josh Sitton, Co-founder and Director of Business Development at Bear General Contractors. Dannon really enjoyed seeing how things operate at Bear GC. She started her own business, Tap the Coast, not too long ago, and was very excited to share experiences with Josh. Dannon is very appreciative of Josh’s advice on the various topics they touched on, including business development, human resources, long-term planning, and goal setting, as well as community involvement and outreach. Josh’s words of wisdom and encouragement have gotten Dannon excited about the future of her own business and focused on reaching big goals for 2021!
Bear General Contractors was founded by long-time friends Chris Jaubert and Josh Sitton and is located in Pensacola. The company specializes in the new construction of commercial buildings and renovations. The company is licensed in Florida, Alabama, and Louisiana.
