Hello Bulldog Families,

If you had ordered a folding music stand from the music store, we have them in the band room.

Please forgive us for not handing them out to the students sooner, and we will be sure to do so once school starts!

The 2026 Bailey Summer Band Camp is in the books!

We came together and made great music once again, and in only 4 days!

We would like to thank all the families for supporting the bailey band, as well as a big thank you to all the former band students who came in to volunteer!

Thank you to all of the fun memories made, and we look forward to seeing everyone back in the band room in August!

Good Afternoon Bulldog Families!

Thank you to all the students who showed up today for the first day of camp!

We started off a little behind(FOR GOOD REASONS), because of the MASSIVE TURNOUT this year! So we apologize for the registration wait times, and we appreciate all the parents who stuck it out to get their student registered.

Tomorrow is day 2 of Camp and it is "Anything but a water bottle" day, so get creative with what you use as a drinking vessel!

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO REGISTER FOR CAMP!

Just show up with the registration dues, and we will get you right into the action!

BAND CAMP STARTS TODAY! Here is everything you need to know before you head out:

📋 The Essentials

Who: All incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade band members.

When: July 13th – 16th (Monday – Thursday) | 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Where: Bailey Middle School Cafeteria

📝 Drop-Off & Registration (Monday)

Registration: Happens in the cafeteria starting at 7:15 AM. A parent/guardian must be present. Late registration is allowed other days.

Camp Dues: $43 cash or check (payable to George Stone).

Instrument Rental(Horn, Euphonium, Tuba, large woodwinds): $50 cash or check (payable to Bailey Middle School).

Location: Drop-off/pick-up is by the band room (off Meadson Rd). If raining, use the front of the school.

🎉 Camp Fun & Reminders

Daily Needs: Bring a water bottle and a personal snack every day. (Snack donations like chips, granola bars, or goldfish are greatly appreciated!).

Theme Days:

Tuesday: Anything but a water bottle day 🥤

Wednesday: Dress like a tourist day 🏝️

Thursday: Pajama Day 💤

Thursday Pizza Party: Bring $5 in a labeled envelope with your student's name by Wednesday if your student wants pizza.

Thursday Showcase: Join us for a student performance at 11:45 AM!

Good Morning Bulldog Band Families!

We are so excited to see everyone tomorrow for camp!

Camp is Monday - Thursday from 7:30AM - 12:30PM

Drop off and pick up will be on the side of the school closest to the band room (off Meadson Rd).

If it's raining , drop off and pick up will be at the front of the school.

On Thursday we will have a performance to show-off what the students worked on at camp, starting at 11:45AM

Some reminders for camp.

Registration will happen in the cafeteria starting at 7:15AM, and a parent/guardian will need to be there to do so.

The registration fee is $43 cash or check (checks made out to “George Stone”).

If your student needs a school owned instrument to rent, than a $50 cash or check (checks made out to Bailey Middle School) deposit will also need to be included before an instrument is sent home with them.

Please make sure to bring a water bottle and personal snack everyday. If you are able to donate snacks like chips, granola bars, goldfish, or fruit snacks please let us know!

We will have themed days Tuesday - Thursday

Tuesday - Anything but a water bottle day (drink your water from anything other than a water bottle! be creative)

Wednesday - Dress like a tourist day

Thursday - Pajama Day

We will be having a pizza party on Thursday. If your student would like pizza, please have them bring $5 in an envelope with their name on it by the end of camp on Wednesday.

Learn how to play your instrument, learn some awesome new music, and have a blast at the Bailey Summer Band Camp! All Incoming 6th grade band members & Current Bailey Band members(7th and 8th graders) are invited to camp, and this is the perfect way to sharpen your skills and hang out with friends/make new friends before the school year kicks off. ☀️🎺

Mr. Murphy and Mr. Nguyen are in Orlando this week to attend and watch the Florida Bandmasters Association's 7 Star Honor Band, which is comprised of 7th-grade band students from across the state of Florida!

Our very own Ellie Napiorkowski was selected to be 1 out of the 10 flutist to perform in the 2025–2026 7 Star Honor Band, and we are so very proud of her!

Please congratulate her on making the band, and also for showing off the great musicianship that is happening in the Jim C. Bailey Band room!
