📷Dr. Derek Morgan and his research students, Taylor Smith, Taylor Hardy, and Avi Williams begin work collecting 360 degree imagery of selected sites at Ft. Pickens at the Gulf Islands National Seashore.
🌏The team is collecting data with a Insta360 X3 camera, a GoPro with extension pole, and Kite imagery where conditions are possible.
📌The data is being collected, compared, and analyzed for Dr. Morgan's ongoing VISTA viewshed sea level rise research. It will also be used for each of the students' respective research projects.
We will continue to share updates about this project and findings as the year continues!
