We can't let August slip by without thanking Connell & Company for donating new shoes to give to students when they need them! These shoes have already been extremely useful for so many!

While we are talking about our awesome community- in addition to being a main sponsor of our back to school bash, Derrick Brooks Charities supplied every student with a backpack. Every classroom also received supplies for the students. As you can see, our dolphins are so grateful!

💙🐬 WHAT A COMMUNITY! 🐬💙

FLASHING BACK TO OUR BACK TO SCHOOL BASH.

We were overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible outpouring of community support for our OJ Semmes Back to School Bash! 🎉

Not only did we have 70+ amazing volunteers from our community come out to serve, but we were also incredibly blessed to have members of the Derrick Brooks Charities Foundation joining us to make this event extra special for our students and families. They traveled all the way from Tampa to show our school support!

A big thank you to the Pensacola Police Department for going above and beyond to support our school! 👮‍♂️💙 Members of PPD spent their time setting up before the event, grilling for our families during the event, and simply showing up to support our students and school community. Chief of Police Eric Winstrom spent time welcoming our students and families back to school.

Our community showed our OJ Semmes Dolphins what it means to truly come together. 🐬💙

Our students may be the heart of OJ Semmes, but it takes an entire village to make moments like this possible. We are so thankful for every business, organization, volunteer, family member, law enforcement officer, community partner, and friend of OJ Semmes who donated their time, resources, and energy to help us kick off an amazing school year!
