💫STARBASE Cherry Point visiting from North Carolina!

🤖Jim Allen Elementary 5th Grade STEAM Night! Kiddos used our Dash Robots and coded their way through obstacles to reach a Blue Angel plane.

1️⃣Back to Day 1! A whole new set of cadets came rolling in our doors. We can’t wait for them to experience ALL the hands-on activities.

🌕McArthur Elementary STEAM night! The kids had to code their way around the moon to a Blue Angel plane with our Dash Robots. They were also able to drive their sphero robots through many race themed obstacles.

Two teams, eight instructors, twenty-five hours of STARBASE curriculum learned, and a whole lot of amazing moments to remember! 😊

Havelock, North Carolina, will open a STARBASE on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Their wonderful team traveled to NAS Pensacola to experience and learn all about our program. We had an amazing time and cannot wait for the cadets to be in session at STARBASE Cherry Point! 💫

We have been having a blast with our friends from Cherry Point! 😁

We had a very wonderful time hosting 5th grade students from Aletheia for a one day adventure!

Cadets enjoyed utilizing and applying steps of the engineering design process throughout their bridge-building mission. Teams had to work as engineers to design and construct a bridge to support a load of 50 grams, not tilt (remain parallel to the water), and maintain a clearance of 1.5cm above the water line. 🌁

The also enjoyed some computer aided design with an immersive scavenger hunt. 💻

We concluded the day in flight simulators soaring through the sky like superheroes with wings!

As we head on into the holiday season, we wanted to say how grateful we are for all of you! Thank you for following us throughout our adventures during the year.

Thank you to all of our teachers and students for attending our program this year! We have so enjoyed getting to know all of you guys! We hope you enjoy your winter break❄️🙌🏼
