Runners- which run is your favorite kind of fall run?

This week I got to run on a shaded trail on Northern Georgia, covered in leaves and today I ran at home, along a quiet beach road.

Discipline is waking up at 4am to work so that you are ready for the neighborhood run club you started at 7:30am, showing up to run, finding nobody is there to join you, and running alone while growing emotionally, spiritually, and physically in the process.

Obstacles or opportunities?

Perspectives are for the choosing.

I travel for work. I spend hours in airports.
This is an opportunity to get my steps in every day. It’s my choice to choose a smoothie or a burger. It’s my choice to choose to smile or to sigh.

I choose to keep moving and as a result I am losing.

70 consecutive days with at least 10,000 steps.
17 pounds down over the same stretch.

Paradigms are a choice.

How we deliver content will continue to evolve with computer learning and AI.
We are already placing students on devices for hours each day while algorithms and adaptive technology delivers content as needed.
What tech has not figured out yet is how to teach students the characteristics of success. Collaboration, cooperation, trust, and so many other interpersonal skills are what make humans unique and essential in teaching other humans.
When we focus on the focus we create a generation equipped for facing the challenges of the future, whatever they may be.
