I’m a bit overdue for one of these!
In the first 6 months of 2026, I gained almost 1,500 followers across Facebook and Instagram; holy cow!
So I figured I’d reintroduce myself 😁
I’m Bridgette (LaHaye) Martell. I’m a former rodeo queen from Southern California. A small town called Valley Center to be exact 🥰 I held 6 titles for a total of 10 years (some were 2 year titles and one was a 3 year title). I won 4 of those titles and was appointed for the last 2 of them. I rode in my first rodeo in 2007 for Jr barrels and I got hooked ever since. My mom always knew how to sew and made most of my wardrobe as a queen. About 2 years ago I was talking to my horse trainer, Taya, about what to do with my free time being pregnant in the Florida summer. She suggested I learn to make shirts for queens like my mom! So my mom got me my first embroidery and sewing machine and here we are today 🥰
Some fun facts about me!
• I am a stay at home mom of a wild little boy
• I have 3 college degrees in psychology, highest being my Master of Science.
• I am my mom’s assistant director for the Poway Rodeo Queens pageant in Poway, CA.
• I am an active duty military spouse. My husband is a helicopter aircrewman.
• I have been to NFR 16 times.
• I’m a Disney adult, had a Disneyland Passport in college & have also recently visited Disneyland Paris.
• I was the first Teen Miss Rodeo California!
• I raised market beef and sheep in 4H.
• I played soccer, volleyball, and golf in school..
• I’ve been riding horses for almost 27 years!
• I started this page originally as a tips and tricks page. Evolved into clothing.

Now that it’s been worn I can share! 🤩 This was a special military appreciation shirt to make, because the queen who wears it comes from a military family, (still active in the Army!). Being a military child is not easy so finding strength to pursue queen titles is incredible. Thank you to the Torres family for trusting me to make this and supporting a military spouse’s small business! ❤️‍🔥🇺🇸
