Today was an exciting and impactful Career Day for our junior and senior students!
Students had the opportunity to connect with representatives from Pensacola State College, the Pensacola Police Department, the United States Navy, and the United States Marine Corps. Through meaningful conversations and real-world insights, they were able to explore a variety of pathways available after high school.
Today marked an important step in helping our students envision their futures and begin making informed decisions about life beyond graduation. We are proud to support them as they take steps toward their goals!

Today, let’s learn about the Freedom House Ambulance Service: The Freedom House Ambulance Service, which operated in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 1967–1975, was the first community-based emergency medical service (EMS) in the United States. It was a collaboration between Freedom House Enterprises, a Black-run non-profit, and Presbyterian University Hospital. The service was founded to address the needs of the city's African American community, who often couldn't rely on police or fire departments during emergencies.
