🪱🌱 DIRT, DIRT, WORM! 🌱🪱

Today’s Farm Class was all about getting our hands dirty and meeting one of the farm’s tiniest—and most important—helpers: RED WIGGLER WORMS! 🪱
Did you know?!
❤️ Worms have FIVE hearts
👀 No eyes
🧠 No brain
🎂 They can live 1–2 years
🥚 They can reproduce every 7–10 days
💩 Their p**p is called castings—and it’s AMAZING for the soil!
🌱 They help build and aerate healthy soil as they wiggle their way through the dirt.

And, of course, we played Dirt, Dirt, WORM! because learning is always better when there’s a little silliness involved. 😂

But my favorite part? We’re not just learning about the farm.
💛 We’re making friends.
🌱 We’re building connections.
🐛 We’re getting curious.
🥰 We’re making learning FUN.

🐷📚 READS! at My Learning Farm — Where Books Come to Life!

This week in My Learning Farm READS!, Charlotte’s Web jumped right off the page and onto the farm! 🌾❤️

We read Chapters 2–3, practiced writing about what we learned, took a deep dive into Roman numerals, learned some fascinating pig facts, and explored our vocabulary word manure—including all the useful things we do with it here on the farm. 💩😂

But the BIG highlight? Our students got to meet our very own Wilbur stand-in… MILLIE! 🐷

A HUGE thank you to the Berry Family for letting us borrow sweet Millie for the day. She helped our students make a real-world connection to the story—and that is exactly what READS! is all about.

Our first day of Farm Class at My Learning Farm was filled with farm-fresh fun and new friendships! ❤️
We met our animal friends, toured the farm, learned about farm life, created barn crafts, played games, and topped off the day with lots of laughter in the fresh country air. There is something truly special about watching children explore, connect, and build confidence through hands-on adventures on the farm! 🌿
