1.) Start with your left hand pinky on G and your thumb on the D.
2.) Play the G and D together and hold for 2 beats.
3.) While holding the G and D, play the B key with your 3rd finger.
4.) Now, while your fingers are in position, play the G, B and D together at the same time - hold the chord for 2 beats and then play it again and hold for another 2 beats.
5.) Take your hand away from the piano.
6.) Repeat steps 1 to 5.

Step 1: If you already know chords, start with a simple 3-chord song.

Step 1a: If you don't know any chords, start with these 3 chords, C, F and G. I'll upload a good chord exercise in my next post.

Piano Teacher

Immediate opening for part time, in-home piano teacher to travel to student's homes in the Cherry Hill, NJ area.

Primary teaching times are weekdays between 3:30 and 8:30 pm. The successful candidate must be willing to teach a minimum of 3 students per night, Monday to Thursday. Friday is optional.

We prefer someone with a minimum of 2 to 3 years teaching experience. Starting pay is $18 per 30-minute lesson.
