Pennsauken High School College/Career Day

Congratulations to Alumnus Arturo Perez, MA. ML. who, this past weekend, was inducted into Rider University's EOP Hall of Fame.

Ninth Annual Pennsauken High School Junior College/Career Day on Friday, January 14, 2021 from 8:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We would greatly appreciate guests in the following panels:

1. Pennsauken graduates at 2 year college
2. Pennsauken graduates at 4 year college
3. Pennsauken graduates at technical schools or are working in a trade (Auto, Beauty, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Programming, etc...)
4. Pennsauken graduates in the military
5. Pennsauken graduates who have graduated college
6. Pennsauken graduates who went directly into a career after high school
7. Local volunteers who can assist students with mock interviews

This half day event will include:

· Breakfast for you
· 3 one hour sessions where you talk to juniors about life after high school or conduct interviews
· Lunch with our juniors

Congratulations to Byron Coleman (‘98) and his colleagues on their 2021 Ursinus Service to Humanity Award. “Just 4 People has distributed regular donations of food, toiletries, baby supplies, household staples and cleaners, blankets, winter coats, hats, gloves, and clothing essentials to homeless shelters and food pantries including Cradle of Hope, People’s Emergency Center, Stenton Family Manor, and the Neighborhood Center. Philanthropy has also permitted the organization to continue making Christmas memorable for single moms and their children, to allow youth to participate and be mentored in organized sports, and to provide furniture for single moms and their children to move into their first homes”.
