The Pallottines established Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in 1954 after receiving permission from Bishop Bartholomew J. They purchased the Cooper River Golf Course to become the campus and named Reverend Marco Martorelli, S.A.C., as the school’s first principal. By September 1954, the Pallottines had remodeled the course’s clubhouse and remaining structures to create two classrooms, a cafeteria and a locker room. Ninety students entered that fall. Bishop Eustace began as a school for young men and also served as the minor seminary for the Pallottine’s Immaculate Conception Province until 1968. In 1972, the Board of Trustees admitted young women to the school. Our school’s success story is truly outstanding. Since the first graduating class in 1958, over 98% of Bishop Eustace graduates have gone on to college. Today, Bishop Eustace was proud to welcome the Jesuit Excellence Tour (JET) to campus!

Our 11th and 12th grade students had the opportunity to meet directly with admissions representatives from Jesuit colleges and universities from across the country, learning more about academics, campus life, admissions, scholarships, and the unique opportunities available through a Jesuit education.

JET brings Jesuit colleges and universities directly to high school students, providing a valuable opportunity to explore schools that share a commitment to academic excellence, service, leadership, and educating the whole person.

Thank you to all of the college representatives who joined us today and helped our Crusaders take another step toward finding the right fit for their future! 🎓

New space. New food service. Same legendary cookie. 🍪

Today marked the first day of food service in our newly renovated Crusader Hall, and while there are plenty of new things for our students to enjoy, we know there was one very important question on the minds of generations of Crusaders:

What about the big cookie?

Don’t worry, alumni. The cookie is still here.

To celebrate opening day, Brother Jim and Father John handed out the beloved Bishop Eustace cookies to our entire school community — a sweet reminder that even as our campus grows and changes, some traditions are simply too good to leave behind.

Ciao a tutti,

This Friday we are excited to offer our students a special study abroad opportunity.

During 9th period, a representative from Temple University’s Rome Campus will be visiting Bishop Eustace to speak with 3rd and 4th year students about study abroad opportunities. Due to the modified schedule for Friday’s Pep Rally, the presentation will take place from 1:39 to 2:15 p.m., which is 9th period that day, in the Science Lecture Hall.

Students who are interested in attending must receive permission from their 9th period teacher and are responsible for making up any work they miss. All 3rd and 4th year students currently taking a World Language have been notified about the event in class and understand that they must get permission from their 9th period teacher before attending.

A day we will never forget. A night our students will always remember. 🇺🇸

On Friday, we honored the 25th anniversary of September 11th—remembering the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the strength and unity of our nation.

Then, under the lights at Allison Field, our Crusaders delivered a night to remember with a huge win.

The student section was loud. The energy was electric. And our Crusader pride was on full display.

Friday nights just hit different at Bishop Eustace. 🏈🇺🇸
