Pennsauken High School’s second annual Juneteenth Festival, hosted by the Black Student Union, brought together students, families, and community members for an unforgettable evening of unity, culture, and celebration. Pennsauken Mayor Patrick Olivo and Committeewoman Nicole Roberts were thrilled to take part in this year's event!

Our students did an amazing job putting together a event for the whole Pennsauken community to celebrate one of nation's most important milestones!

Last week, Dr. Sam Rhodes and Rita Della Valle led engaging professional learning sessions with district leaders focused on the power of metacognition—helping students think about their thinking to strengthen learning and achievement. We are excited to build on this important work and expand these learning opportunities to teams across the district throughout the upcoming school year. Together, we are fostering reflective practices that support success for all learners!
