Where are you from? Quincy, IN
What grade level do you hope to teach? Low elementary or high school
Who or what inspired you to study education? Some of my favorite teachers through the years and a love of knowledge/ helping people understand new things
What has been one of your favorite classes so far? Comp. II
What do you most look forward to about teaching someday? The relationships with students and being a way to shape their lives for Jesus
What is your go-to snack? Rice Krispie treats
What is one of your favorite Bible verses? Isaiah 41:
What advice would you give someone hoping to study education? First, you should probably have a love for learning because if you hate the subjects you're teaching, the kids will probably too. Also, be an interesting person. Kids dislike boring.

IN ACTION: Our education department at Penn View is committed to helping our students practice hands-on from the very beginning. Whether it is through teacher's aide hours, assisting, or helping tutor a student, this practical experience is valuable! We are so grateful for an academy that works alongside us to help train up Christian teachers!
