We work closely with local families, schools, professionals, and preschools by providing training, support, and referrals to area resources. Our mission is to break down barriers that exist between the medical community, education, and families seeking support. I

🚨Scholarship Opportunity🚨

This year, The Alliance is offering a Scholarship for Public School Graduating Seniors: 2026 Connections for the Future Scholarship.
This opportunity is for up to $1,000 for a graduating Public School Senior with disabilities from Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Essex, Morris, Somerset, Union, Warren or Sussex County.

The application deadline is March 1, 2026.

Free Resource Alert! 🚨

The Rutgers University Speech-Language Pathology Clinic invites individuals ages 16–24 to join BRIDGE, a free 5-week online group focused on strengthening executive functioning skills for greater independence in school, work, and daily life.

When: Thursdays, 2:00–3:00 PM | July 10 – August 7, 2025
Where: Zoom
Cost: Free (registration required)

Participants will:
* Build skills in time management, organization, and goal-setting
* Strengthen problem-solving and follow-through
* Practice real-world planning strategies
* Connect in a structured, supportive setting

This group is led by graduate clinicians under licensed supervision as part of Rutgers’ clinical training and community outreach.
