A lot of walking, a lot of history, and a lot to see so far. They’ve had the chance to take in the food, culture, and everyday rhythm of each place along the way. 🇵🇹

Pennington students are off to a meaningful start in Malawi, spending the week in and around the Dzaleka refugee camp through hands-on work, learning, and connection. So far, they have delivered and unloaded new furniture for an art classroom, helped paint a mural, worked with younger students on activities including Lego and dental hygiene, met with teen partners in the camp, toured homes and community spaces, and learned from local leaders about water, hygiene, girls’ education, health, and daily life in Malawi.
