Car Week was so much fun! We didn’t have a lot of cars but the ones the kids did have, they loved! Especially the Mustangs!

State Trooper Hulse also visited us and we learned a lot! No lights and sirens because their sirens only work when the vehicle is in motion!
Miss Kelly also decided to take a selfie! Lol.

Dear KLS Families,

As a reminder, Keuka Lake School Child Care will be closed on Monday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 18 so that all staff can participate in our annual training days.

These training days are mandatory and play an important role in ensuring that every member of our team receives the same high-quality professional development, compliance training, safety updates, and program instruction. Taking this time together allows us to strengthen our practices, maintain regulatory requirements, and ensure consistency across all classrooms and programs.

We understand that program closures can be an inconvenience for families, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and support. Please know that we do not make these decisions lightly. We dedicate these two days each year to investing in our staff so that we can continue providing the highest quality care, education, and support for the children and families we serve.

Thank you for partnering with us and for trusting us with your children. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Wednesday, August 19, ready for another great year at KLS.

Good morning, families, friends, and community!

School-Age daycare is on its final lemonade stand this week, Friday, August 14th, at 10:00 am.

*Unfortunately, Miss Heather is not here tomorrow, so we won't have any baked goods unless we can get some donations. So, if you would like to donate baked goods, please comment below, and Miss Heather will reach out to you. We would need them by Friday morning before 10:00 am.

*It will depend on the weather, the heat, and the UV index on how long we stay open. If it is hot, we will only be open until 11:00 am, but if it is on the cooler side, in the shade, we will plan to stay open until noon.

*I will keep it updated here.

*We are planning to do a small yard sale, so if you have anything that you would like to donate to that, please drop off your items to KLS any time before 9:00 am Friday, so we know what we have and what we will need to set up.

*We are also still collecting bottles and cans if you would like to donate. You can drop them off at the school.

*Our field trip plans are in the works; we are just waiting for some options for dates! We are so excited! And we can’t thank everyone who has supported us enough! Without your donations, we couldn’t go on this field trip, so THANK YOU; we appreciate you all!

We are open! Come get your lemonade, chocolate chip cookies, vanilla chip cookies, gluten free chocolate and vanilla chip cookie bars, or homemade dog treats! We also have bows, bracelets, and painted rocks!

Miss Cierra came and talked to us about being a preschool teacher and Miss Alyssa talked to us via video chat to talk to us about being a stay at home mom that homeschools her children and does farm chores.
