Writing has always been a passion of mine throughout my 15 years as a healthcare administrator, my volunteer and community involvement and my personal lif

e. I’ve been an alumni interviewer for Duke University for 20 years and the Philadelphia Area Chairperson for the Duke University Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee for four years. To keep in touch with current admissions trends, I’ve attended numerous workshops and college information sessions both for my own children and as part of my developing business. An essay well done can make a significant difference in how the student is received and may even be the deciding factor in the admissions office. Yet, the college essay process can be daunting for students, and even the parents! I believe every student has a story to tell, and through our work together, I help students discover and express their story authentically and in their voice. A hearty congratulations to all Class of 2015 graduates! Another great year at Essay Does It concludes with our students heading off to the schools pictured below.

This year I have had the privilege of working one-on-one with some of the most accomplished high school students in the Philadelphia area (as well a handful of college transfer, graduate school and medical school applicants from across the country). After a lot of hard work, the big reward is to look back proudly on their progress and see the bright future that lies ahead.

Now it's time to look toward the 2015-16 academic year. I still have spots available and am ready to help students through the essay-writing process!
