We strive to meet the needs of all of our students. Chai Five Program-this is a program for students in grades 3-7 to take their Jewish Education one step further. This program, designed for the serious student who is dedicated to integrating the values of Judaism into their daily lives, meets during regular religious school hurs. Students will participae part of the day with their grade level, an
d part of the day in Chai Five classes. Students who koin this program also commit to completing work outside of the classroom as well as attending monthly Shabbat Services. At the conclusion of 7th grade, students are recognized in front of the congrgegation on a Shabbat morning, in the monthly Bulletin, and their name will be engraved on a plaque for participating in the program. Madregot(Special Needs Program)-The Madregot program of The Jane Fishman Grinberg Religious School is a warm, nurturing Jewish learning enviornment dedicated to children with learning differences. Each child is encouraged to maximize hir or her learning potential and is instilled with a lifeling love of Judaism. The children learn about Jewish holidays, Israel, and the Hebrew language in a fun and creative atmosphere. Some children benefit from a self-contained classroom while others are partially or completely mainstreamed with support. Their needs are varied, but the commitment of the program is to engage every child and help them live a meaningful Jewish life. The Madregot Program is open to non-members.
