🧪🔬 Mixing Up Science in 5th Grade! 🔬🧪

Ms. Gutierrez and Mr. Escareño’s 5th grade classes dove into an exciting science lesson exploring mixtures and solutions! 🧪✨

Students investigated how different substances can be combined, observed what happened when materials were mixed, and explored the differences between mixtures and solutions through hands-on learning.

What a great way for our Clinton Coyotes to put science concepts into action while thinking like real scientists! 💙🐾🔬

If you need an additional pick-up number for another vehicle or a designated person who will be picking up your child, please stop by the Clinton Elementary office to request an extra number.

🌟📚 Learning, Sharing & Growing in PK3! 📚🌟

Ms. Rodriguez and Mrs. Hernandez’s PK3 class has been busy exploring their classroom and learning all about what it means to be part of a classroom community! 💙🐾

Students have been exploring different learning centers, practicing important classroom rules and routines, learning how to share and work with friends, and understanding the importance of cleaning up after play and learning activities. 🧸🧩✨

These everyday experiences are helping our youngest Clinton Coyotes build independence, cooperation, responsibility, and positive classroom habits—all while learning through play! ❤️

🧪🔬 Young Scientists at Work! 🔬🧪

Last week, 3rd graders in Mrs. D. Rios’ class put on their scientist hats and explored the physical properties of matter through hands-on investigations!

Working collaboratively in groups, students used different scientific tools to test, observe, measure, and record the properties of various materials. They investigated:

🧲 Magnetism — Is it attracted to a magnet?
💧 Density — Will it sink or float?
⚖️ Mass — How much mass does it have?
🌡️ Temperature — What is its temperature?

They made predictions, tested their ideas, discussed their observations, and used evidence to record what they discovered. Science becomes so much more meaningful when students get the opportunity to DO science, not just read about it!

TEKS 3.6A: Students measure, test, and record physical properties of matter, including temperature, mass, magnetism, and the ability to sink or float.

These hands-on experiences help turn curiosity into learning and our students into little scientists!

🚗💙 Important Arrival & Dismissal Safety Reminder 💙🚗

Dear Clinton Families,

For the safety of all our students, we are asking parents and guardians to please remain in their vehicles during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.

Our staff members will assist students by walking them safely to and from their vehicles. This procedure helps keep the drop-off and pick-up areas moving smoothly while reducing the risk of accidents and ensuring that students remain safe.

We understand that this may require a little extra patience, and we truly appreciate your cooperation and support as we work together to maintain a safe and efficient arrival and dismissal process. 🐾💙
