Clinton Dance Stars SHINING BRIGHT

What an unforgettable experience for our Clinton Dance Stars!

Our talented dance team had the wonderful opportunity to walk in the Juarez-Lincoln Homecoming Parade and show off their dance moves during the Homecoming Pep Rally!

These 26 young stars brought their energy, enthusiasm, and school spirit to the celebration! Seeing their confidence, teamwork, and excitement as they performed made our school incredibly proud!

Being part of a dance team is about so much more than learning choreography. It's about building confidence, creating friendships, learning teamwork, and making memories that will last a lifetime!

A huge THANK YOU to their coach Mrs. Daniella Rios for preparing them and guiding them. Also, thank you to everyone who cheered them on and supported our dancers! We are so proud of each and every one of them!

📚✨ Reading, Learning & Standing Up Against Bullying! 💙🐾

Our Library had a special visit from ChildFund and AmeriCorps, who brought an engaging presentation that combined the joy of reading with an important anti-bullying message. 📖💙

Students enjoyed an interactive story and participated in fun games and activities that encouraged them to think, share, and learn about the importance of kindness, respect, and standing up for others. 🌟🤝

A BIG thank you to ChildFund and AmeriCorps for taking the time to visit William J. Clinton Elementary and make reading such a fun and meaningful experience for our students! We appreciate you! 💙🐾📚

Science in Action: Exploring Force & Motion!

Mrs. D. Rios’ 3rd grade scientists put force and motion to the test! Students worked collaboratively to build a track and investigate how different amounts of force affected the distance a ball traveled.

Using a gentle, medium, and stronger push, students completed multiple trials, measured and recorded the distance traveled, and compared their data to identify patterns. They also practiced keeping variables—such as the track and starting point—the same so they could focus on how changing the amount of force affected the ball’s motion.

🎯 TEKS 3.7B: Plan and conduct a descriptive investigation to demonstrate and explain how position and motion can be changed by pushing and pulling objects such as swings, balls, and wagons.

Hands-on investigations like this give our students the opportunity to plan, test, measure, collaborate, and use evidence to explain cause and effect!

🔬📏 Little Scientists at Work! 📏🔬

Ms. Reyes’s PK4 students explored measurement in action through a fun, hands-on pendulum investigation! 🧪✨

Our little scientists compared different pendulums and used building blocks as nonstandard units to measure and compare the lengths of each string. 🧱📐

Learning through exploration, movement, and discovery makes science even more exciting! 💡🔍💙

🎉 Good Choices Celebration! 🎉

Yesterday, our students were celebrated for making good choices throughout the six weeks! 🌟

Students who demonstrated positive choices were invited to enjoy a special Good Choice Celebration with their friends. They enjoyed 🍿 popcorn, 🍬 candies, 🧃 juice, and some well-deserved time to relax, have fun, and celebrate their success together!

We are so proud of our students for showing responsibility, respect, and positive choices each day. Keep making those good choices, Clinton Coyotes! 💙🐺
