Take Off Program A preschool learning outreach program of the Umatilla County Special Library District. When you can read, you can “Take Off!” to anywhere you choose!

The Take Off Program is the early literacy outreach program of the Umatilla County Special Library District. The program serves children from birth to kindergarten by partnering with early childhood educators within Umatilla County. While we hope that every child visits their local library and experiences the programs and everything the library has to offer, we realize not all children get this op

portunity. To promote the development of the early literacy skills necessary to successfully begin kindergarten, services are delivered to children where they attend preschool and/or childcare.

EAA Chapter 219 is giving free introductory flights to youths ages 8 to 17. This is a great chance to discover a love for flying or just to get some time in the air.
